Ryan and Allie’s love story began the way many great romances do these days—on a dating app. It was September 2020, and after swiping right on each other, and pandemic-style dating with socially distanced outdoor tables, they quickly realized they had a connection. During their first date at Tony C's in Somerville, Ryan and Allie discovered their mutual love for music. This was the first of many common interests and values that led to second, third, fourth dates and eventually an impromptu trip to meet Allie's family in February 2021 where she first told Ryan she loved him.

As the world reopened, Allie and Ryan would go on many adventures together- their mutual love for travel and trying new things solidifying their partnership. From meeting monkeys and parrots in Punta Cana to white water rafting in Western Massachusetts, they filled every day with joy. But outside of the fun and laughs, Allie and Ryan were also able to support each other during some difficult life events. They always say they are "the best team."

By July 2023, they decided to take the next step and move in together. Allie brought along her two dogs, Spud and Spencer and Ryan quickly earned his stripes as the ultimate dog dad. As an added bonus, Allie was gaining Ryan's grandfather, who lovingly goes by "Papa" as an additional roommate. Becoming closer to Ryan's family meant so much to Allie. Ryan and Allie quickly learned how to cohabitate, even as two people who work from home and have very different sleeping patterns. Living together only brought them closer and proved that they were each other's person.

On January 13, 2024, Ryan took Allie to see her other best friend (Myrtle the Sea Turtle) at the New England Aquarium. Outside the aquarium by the harbor under a beautiful archway, he got down on one knee and proposed. Allie said yes, and they started planning the biggest party of their lives.

Ryan hails from Everett, MA, and Allie made her way to Boston from Rochester, NY in 2011. Both come from big, loving families who are just as excited to celebrate this next chapter. They can’t wait to eat, drink, and be married with all of you!
